In Yantai Tayho, we always put energy saving and reduction of waste discharges in the same important position as economic growth. To establish an energy-saving and environmental-friendly enterprise is one of the business targets of the company. In recent years, over 40 million has been invested for the environmental protection, yearly running cost being 6 million. We have now 4 sets of sewage treatment facilities with daily capacities of 450 tons, 2250 tons, 1200 tons and 2500 tons respectively, and 4 sets of on-line testing equipment in work 24 hours a day for waste water and gas inspection. In 1995, the company was awarded as ‘Advanced Enterprise for Environmental Protection’ by the State Environmental Protection Bureau. In 2009, the company was assessed ‘A Class’ for clean production by Shandong Province.
