Research Institute of Advanced Polymer Materials Yantai was announced to be founded in Yantai city, which is a joint establishment by Tayho and seven well-known universities and enterprises. It plans to set up seven professional laboratories, two R&D centers, four pilot plants and test platforms, aiming at improving the competitiveness of Chinese advanced materials with global cutting-edge technologies. A research team of more than 100 members is formed with two renowned academicians-Xiaojun Peng and Meifang Zhu as the backbone leaders.
